Scotland Excel is delighted to announce that a further six contracts were added to its portfolio in November. Developed in close partnership with Local Authority members, the contracts cover Education Furniture, Hire of Vehicles and Plant, Tyres, Ironmongery, Tools and Sundries, and Waste Containers.
Based on an estimated annual spend of £28.3m across all participating Councils, the contracts offer potential savings of just over £3.6m per year, (12.7%), and c. £13m over the term of the agreements. Details of each contract can be found in the Scotland Excel online catalogue within the Members’ Area, (registered members only).
Scotland Excel’s portfolio now encompasses 56 contracts, 34 of which are open to all Local Authority members. A further five contracts for Advertising, Office Furniture, Classroom Materials, Vehicle Spare Parts, and Sports and Games Equipment are expected to be awarded in December.
