The Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards will recognise supplier performance in the following categories: 

  • Value for Money
    Efficiencies and value for money  are attractive benefits when they don’t impact quality. This award will recognise those suppliers who can demonstrate effective value for money and efficiencies.

    Improving our natural and built environment for current and future generations will contribute to achieving a ‘Greener Scotland’. This award will recognise those suppliers who can demonstrate excellence in their environmental management.

    This award will recognise those suppliers who deliver sustainable community benefits. Community benefits include fund raising events for children’s charities, job opportunities for the long-term unemployed and guest lectures to inspire future generations.

    Successful businesses are always innovating and this award will recognise those suppliers whose innovation has been of real benefit to their customers.

    Excellent customer support and service is the bedrock of most successful businesses. This award will recognise those suppliers whose excellent customer service sets them apart from their competitors.

  • Local Excellence
    This award recognises the work undertaken by smaller suppliers to deliver additional benefits to their customers.  It is open to micro-businesses, small companies or third sector organisations, with 20 or fewer employees and a turnover of up to £10m, and which have their head office in Scotland.

    This award recognises businesses that are leading transformation, innovation and impact in their supply chains  This may include working with smaller suppliers in partnership or alongside a supported business.
