Radisson Blu, Glasgow, 20 February 2018

Scotland Excel is at the forefront of public sector procurement for Scotland’s local authorities. Over the past nine years, we have helped to raise the profile of procurement in local authorities by championing its potential to support the sustainable delivery of the services that every community needs.

The role of our suppliers is critical to achieving these goals. We believe in recognising their achievements and supporting their development. And, this is why we are once again launching the Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards on 18 September 2017. The awards are open to eligible suppliers; all of whom have been invited by email.

The FREE TO ENTER awards will recognise the contribution made by suppliers in delivering measurable benefits for Scotland Excel members. They will highlight the innovation and excellence demonstrated by suppliers in supporting the delivery of public services across Scotland.

The Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards will celebrate good practice, new ways of thinking, and those who go the extra mile. They will provide suppliers with a unique opportunity to share their achievements and have them recognised by their peers. All they need to do is enter.

The Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards will recognise supplier performance in the following categories:

The awards will open for entries on 18 September 2017 and close on 27 October 2017. Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony and dinner on 20 February 2018 . The ceremony will be the showcase event of the Scotland Excel Conference and Supplier Awards 2018 which will be held at Radisson Blu in Glasgow on 20 and 21 February.

Entry is open to suppliers that have been awarded a place on a Scotland Excel framework which is live at 01 September 2017.  The entry must relate to the supply of goods or services to Scotland Excel members under that framework between 01 September 2016 and at 31 August 2017.

All submissions must be based on work directly related to a Scotland Excel framework, i.e. innovative work for a customer that is not serviced by Scotland Excel will not be considered for an award.  Any supplier which has been removed or has withdrawn from a qualifying framework prior  will not be considered for an award.
