Anchor Mill and Paisley Landscape

Paisley is a town in the west-central lowlands of Scotland with a population of around 75 000. The town is sited on the banks of the River Cart and forms part of the Greater Glasgow conurbation with Glasgow City Centre being 7 miles to the east. Paisley’s is historically famous for its links to the weaving industry, notably, through its world famous “Paisley Pattern”.

Scotland Excel is based in one of Paisley's most historic buildings from this period, Anchor Mill, which is ideally placed in Paisley Town Centre. The building was restored and reopened in 2005 with a mix of residential and modern office accomodation.

Glasgow International Airport is situated in the north of Paisley, around a mile from the town centre. The M8 motorway which links Glasgow and Edinburgh runs across the north of the town. Paisley is served by four railway stations, the principal station in the town centre is Paisley Gilmour Street. With bus routes to Glasgow and surrounding towns, Paisley has an excellent transport infrastructure.

Whilst being part of the largest urban area in Scotland, Paisley is only 20 miles from Loch Lomond and 25 miles from the seaside towns on the west coast of Scotland and is an ideal location for those seeking a balanced lifestyle of business and leisure.
