Scotland Excel is one of the largest public sector shared service organisations in Scotland. As the Centre of Procurement Expertise for the local government sector, we are proud to work in partnership with all 32 local authorities in Scotland.
The value that we provide to our local authority members reaches beyond the opportunities for financial savings offered by our collaborative contracts. We also champion the benefits of strategic procurement to local authorities through the Procurement Improvement Programme and our learning and development programme, Enhancing Procurement Capabilities.
In addition to our local authority members, there are around 60 associate members of Scotland Excel that are eligible to use our contracts and take part in our learning and development courses. These are public bodies or organisations which engage in activities of a public nature, and include housing associations, community groups, voluntary organisations and charities.
