Question: I had a username and password for your old website - can I use this to login?

Answer: The main difference is you now need your e-mail address to login rather than a username. Your password will still be valid - however, passwords must be at least eight characters in length. If your password is less than eight characters long you will still be able to login but you will have to change your password from within your profile.

Question: I've forgotten my password, how do I get a new one?

Answer: You can automatically request a password reminder which will be delivered to your e-mail address.

Question: My login details don't seem to work - what could I be doing wrong?

Answer: There are a few quick checks you can do that may assist:

1) make sure your CAPS LOCK is not active - your password is case-sensitive,
2) ensure you are using your e-mail address and password to login - any pre-existing usernames are no longer valid,
3) double check the spelling of your e-mail address - it's easy to confuse '.gov.uk' and '.co.uk',
4) request a password reminder - this will be delivered to your e-mail address,
5) if you are still unable to login, please call the HelpLine for assistance on 0845 606 8726.

Question: I've changed e-mail address - what do I do?

Answer: If you've changed e-mail address you should register online with your new details. This is important if you have transferred to a new Council as your login determines which contracts and suppliers you can see.

Question: I'm an associate member - can I access the Members area?

Answer: All current associate members can register to access the Members area

Question: I'm a supplier - can I access the Members area?

Answer: Due to the nature of the information stored in the Members area, membership is restricted to local authorities and associate members. Suppliers have a dedicated section of our website called "Information for Suppliers" which contains lots of advice and information on how to supply to Scotland's public sector.
