Question: Who can become a member of Scotland Excel?
Answer: Membership of Scotland Excel is open to all 32 local authorities in Scotland. Additionally, we have many associate members from police and fire boards, community groups, charities, housing associations and voluntary organisations.
Question: What is the criteria to become an associate member?
Answer: Organisations can apply for membership if they are a public authority or public body, or, a body who engages in activities of a public nature.
Question: How do I apply for a associate membership?
Answer: If you are interested in becoming an associate member of Scotland Excel, please complete the online enquiry form choosing "Associate Member Application" in the enquiry type drop-down box.
Question: Which contracts can associate members access?
Answer: Associate members can access any Scotland Excel contracts that are awarded on or after the date they have been approved for membership.
Question: Do associate members pay a fee?
Answer: There is an annual fee which is calculated against an established fee matrix. Once an organisation has expressed an interest in becoming an associate member we can discuss their requirements and provide an estimate of the annual fee.
Question: How long does associate membership last?
Answer: Associate membership is a rolling annual agreement - members may cancel by giving three months written notice.
