Alex Neil MSP is new cabinet secretary for procurement
Procurement becomes part of the Infrastructure and Capital Investment portfolio.
Alex Neil, MSP for Airdrie and Shotts, was appointed Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Capital Investment on 19 May. This portfolio encompasses procurement as well as number of other key areas including transport, housing, communities and regeneration.
Mr Neil is now Chair of the Public Procurement Reform Board which sets the direction of procurement reform agenda, and oversees the progress achieved by those involved in this programme.
