Stakeholder workshops for biomass procurement
Scottish Procurement announces workshops for biomass procurement strategy.
Scottish Procurement is holding a number of workshops to discuss the procurement strategy for a collaborative framework for biomass. The workshops are aimed at procurement managers, energy managers and other staff from across the public sector who are involved in this area.
The workshops will take place in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness on the following dates:

The agenda includes a presentation on public sector requirements for biomass, and the opportunities, risks and options associated with a collaborative procurement strategy.
The event at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh will also include a short presentation by the university on their experiences of installing a biomass plant and a tour of their boiler house.
