Nominations open for the 2011 GO Awards
Call for entries to this year's GO Scotland Excellence in Public Procurement Awards
Now in its fourth year, the GO Awards Scotland provide all types of organisation - public, private and third sector - with a platform to promote and share best practice and highlight the procurement initiatives that are making a real difference.
New categories have been included which recognise the changing landscape of the procurement role. The entry process has also been streamlined with an electronic submission form.
Categories include:
- GO Sustainability and CSR Initiative of the Year Award
- GO / John F McClelland Collaborative Procurement Initiative of the Year Award
- GO Best Service Award
- GO Procurement Innovation or Initiative of the Year Award
- GO Best Supplier Engagement Initiative of the Year Award
- GO Best Customer Engagement Initiative of the Year Award
- GO Team of the Year Award
The deadline for entries has been extended to 16 September 2011, and the award ceremony will take place at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on the evening of 25 October 2011. Details on how to enter are available on the GO Awards 2011 website.
Two other key industry events - the Scottish Government's National Procurement Conference and Procurex exhibition - are also taking place on 25 October at Glasgow's SECC.
