Register now for the National  Conference and Procurex

Conference_(medium)

Final week of registrations for Scotland's national public sector procurement event.

The National Public Procurement Conference, which is taking place on 25 October at the SECC in Glasgow, is Scotland's only national event for public procurement professionals.

With the public sector continuing to experience significant financial challenges, procurement is increasingly being recognised as a driver of the savings and efficiencies that can help to protect frontline services.

Over the past few years, the Public Procurement Reform Programme has raised the profile of the procurement function while implementing a dynamic programme of change to raise standards across the sector.  As a result, Scotland is now recognised as leading the way in public procurement practice.

The 2011 Conference provides an opportunity for procurement professionals, or indeed anyone with an interest in public procurement, to hear and discuss the latest developments within the sector.  The agenda offers an essential mix of key note speeches, panel discussions and breakout sessions covering a range of hot topics.

Delegates also benefit from free entry to the Procurex exhibition where they can speak with suppliers, attend seminars and meet contacts in a dedicated networking zone.  The Procurex exhibition is also open to visitors who are not attending the conference, and registration is free.

Further information on the National Procurement Conference and Procurex is available on the event website.
