IIP and CIPS accreditation

Scotland Excel is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Investors in People (IIP) and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) accreditation.
Investors in People is a prestigious national benchmark of good practice which sets standards for continuous organisational improvement.
As part of our IIP assessment, we received an insightful report into our organisation which highlights areas of strength and good practice as well as aspects of our business that we need to focus on improving. The assessment will be used to inform our continuous improvement programme and future development plans for the organisation.
Gaining accreditation is another important step forward in our journey towards being recognised, respected and trusted by our members and suppliers as the leading procurement organisation in Scotland.
This award followed the recertification of the organisation by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply for Excellence in Purchasing Policies and Procedures. Scotland Excel retains its status as the only Scottish public sector organisation with this level of accreditation.
