All applications for membership of Scotland Excel are considered and approved by the Scotland Excel Joint Committee or its Executive Sub-Committee.
 

As a public sector procurement agency, Scotland Excel is restricted in the types of organisation which it can supply its services to. Bodies intending to reap the benefits of membership of Scotland Excel should generally be involved in work of a socially caring, educational or cultural concern, or engaging in activities of a public nature.

In order to become a customer of Scotland Excel, your Constitution, or Articles and Memorandum of Association must comply with the requirements of the 1970 Local Government (Goods and Services) Act, as amended by the Local Government (Scotland) Act 2003.
